2. Lucy Heartfilia

Lucy awoke that morning with a start. It wasn't because of some disturbing dream or her alarm clocking ringing. No, it was the smell of freshly baked goods that had drawn her out of slumber. A very familiar smell, indeed. Yawning, the blonde pushed back the covers, revealing her pudgy little belly. She started to climb out of bed to go and investigate.

'Cookies? Chocolate chip cookies?' she sniffed the air again, 'Who in the world would be baking cookies at this hour? And in my kitchen? Oh, wait a minute...'

Lucy quickly threw on a pair of loose pajama tops and bottoms before leaving her bedroom. Carefully and quietly, she scuffled down the hallway, hearing the sound of an oven being closed shut. By this point, she was already forming a pretty good idea of just who it was that was baking treats in the morning. Lately, it had always been the work of one of her particular Celestial Spirits.

"Virgo...are you baking cookies AGAIN?" Lucy asked incredulously as she stepped forth to confront the pink-haired 'maid'. Virgo did not try to act bashful or ashamed for her actions; she simply dumped the batch of tasty treats into a bowl and placed it upon the table before Lucy. Plue, one of Lucy's lesser Spirits, let out a happy "puun" as he started to help himself to one of the cookies. For some reason, these two were constantly sneaking out of their keys whenever they could. Especially when they wanted to get Lucy to eat.

"I would assume that you would be hungry after waking up, Princess. I was only making sure that you are kept energized and well-fed. But if I did something against your wishes, you may punish me with a lubed whip if you so desire. Spanking me would also be a viable option."

"Err, there's no need to go doing anything like that; I'm just kind of surprised, that's all! Cookies aren't really something that makes a healthy breakfast, though,"

"So...you don't want them?"

Lucy licked her lips; she really did love cookies, and it would be a shame to simply turn them down. "Well...I didn't say that, exactly..."

"Then you should eat. I already am preparing oatmeal cookies and sugar cookies as well. You can bring them with you for lunch at the guild. I make sure to put all of my care into preparing your meals, Princess, you know that."

"Alright...thanks..." Lucy took her seat at the table, and she started to munch on the cookies alongside Plue

"I live to serve."

"But do you think you can make something different sometime? Like, maybe some filet mignon with potatoes on the side for tonight would be great!"

"Understood. I will get right on it."

In truth, this was not the first time that this chain of events had occurred. There were many instances were Lucy found herself waking up to the smell of cooking, and seeing that it was all Virgo's doing. And every time, the pink-haired spirit was busily making treats that were always particularly fattening for the young woman she called her 'Princess'. Although Lucy was steadily gaining weight from eating so much, she had inadvertently chosen to remain oblivious to it all, constantly fooling herself into thinking she could lose the extra pounds whenever she wanted to. She couldn't keep from eating whenever Virgo offered her food. She would greedily gobble everything down to the tiniest crumb; nothing was spared from the blonde's piggish onslaught. The lack of missions and a strange feeling of emptiness drove Lucy to filling her time with reading, writing and lots of snacks.

Unlike Cana who wanted to get fatter, Lucy didn't want to, but she couldn't stop feasting either.

------------

Later that same day, Lucy was sitting with her friend Cana Alberona inside Fairy Tail's guild meeting room slash cafeteria. The blonde was still munching away at the cookies Virgo had baked for her; she had polished off the chocolate chip cookies with Plue's help, but she still had the oatmeal and sugar cookies to work her way through. She had never realized stuffing her face could be such tedious work. She looked over at Cana, who was drinking from a barrel of liquor like usual. She had some pudge forming on her, but with her friend's feelings in mind, Lucy decided not to bring it up. Instead, she gossiped about the other girls and herself.

"So, lately, my celestial spirits have been acting really odd lately," Lucy explained, sinking her teeth into a large oatmeal cookie, "They just keep bringing me food lately, especially when I don't ask for it. I'm starting to think that Virgo and Plue are up to something. But, I just can't really say 'no' either, can I? It all tastes so good!"

"...Yeah?" replied the other girl with an uninterested tone. Lucy watched Cana take another swig. She was really into drinking alcohol lately, even more so than usual. Lucy wondered why; it was obviously having a negative effect on her friend's body, plus she tended to be a rather mean drunk, but no one ever said a word to her. Not that Lucy was willing to say anything either. She finished eating her oatmeal cookie and reached into her purse for yet another one to replace it. As she did this, Lucy's arm inadvertently brushed against the surface of her stuffed tummy.

"Yeah. In fact, I think I've been gaining some weight recently from it, but I'm not sure. What do you think, Cana?"

Cana shook her head. "Nah, girl, you still look good! I wouldn't worry about it!"

"Well, if you say so, Cana," Lucy looked away at the sugar cookie she was now chewing, "I've noticed some other girls around here getting a little rounder lately, though!"

"Y-You have?" Lucy found it a little odd that her statement would make Cana act so surprised, especially when it was really rather obvious if one just took the time to look at some of the women of Fairy Tail.

"I mean, I don't want to sound mean considering she's our friend, but...have you seen Mirajane lately?"

"Huh?"

"And Erza too; she says it's for some kind of training or something. I really don't get her sometimes to be honest."

Cana took just a moment away from her beer barrel to take a breath. "Wow..."

"I really wonder what's going on with all of us these days,"

Lucy ate a few more cookies, all at the same time, and washed it down with some of Cana's liquor. She tried hard to swallow it down; she was never very good with alcohol, but she was too lazy to get up and find some water to drink instead. Pretty soon Cana left to get a refill, despite having already drunk more alcohol in a day so far than most people would in several weeks. Lucy tried to keep a belch from escaping her throat, something she had to do often lately. Without her friend around to distract her, the blonde gradually found her attention drawn to the pile of food at Erza's table. Her warrior friend had been stuffing herself like crazy lately, all for the sake of getting 'stronger'. Lucy got up from her seat and waltzed over to the other girl. Lucy was honestly getting sick of eating cookies.

"Umm, Erza?"

"Hrph?" Erza grunted in-between bites of roasted eggplant. She had yet to look up from her plate to fully acknowledge her friend's presence.

"Do you think...just maybe...I could have some of this food too?"

"No,"

"O-Oh, okay...sorry for bothering you!" And with that, Lucy quickly made her leave. She was going to have to wait until she finished her errands before home before she could finally eat something else. She still had a good feeling that Virgo would already have made more sweets in preparation for her return.

Things really were changing for them, whether it be for better or for worse.

-----------

"Oh, welcome home, Princess." Virgo said when she heard the door open.

Lucy groaned in agony as she stumbled into her apartment, clutching her distended abdomen. She had been able to accomplish all of her chores for the day without a hitch, but at the same time, she had stuffed herself several times over in between each of them. After buying some new notebooks, the young woman purchased two hot-dogs to gorge on along the way to the next store. She paid a visit to the newly-opened bakery, bought several snacks from a vendor, and had an ice cream cone too, all before she actually finished her next chore of picking up dog food for Plue. Now, with her belly the size of a festival drum, the blonde could do nothing but drag herself all the way to the nearest chair she could find, and simply collapse into it. When she finally accomplished this deeply-desired task, she unleashed a poignant belch of relief.

"Ouch...I think I...really overdid it this time..." she moaned. She had alot of money saved over the years, and that was one of the reasons she had been so confidently splurging on treats like this, although she was far overdoing it at this point. Lucy started massaging her stomach as Virgo appeared from the kitchen, a sweet, sugary scent following her close behind. A scent Lucy knew all too well; it made her stomach ache just smelling it.

"Are you alright, my Princess?"

"No, I'm not alright...I'm stuffed...I feel like I'm going to pop! Can you rub it for me?" Lucy quietly whimpered; she hadn't noticed it herself, but her personality had become more dependent on others due to both growing appetite and body, something that didn't occur with the other girls, but it seemed to play a large effect on her psyche. She didn't like doing much else but talk, write, and eat. Most of her days consisted of those three elements lately.

"Of course, my Princess," Virgo bowed, and she gently began the soothing procedure. She was careful to use only the lightest of touches on such a bloated stomach. Lucy sighed in relief; Virgo was surprisingly skilled at massaging, probably something she had picked up during work under her previous owner. Lucy could feel herself gradually drifting off into sleep, her eyes lid growing heavy, the pain in her stomach waning. Suddenly, she felt something soft and fluffy touch her lips. Lucy's eyes widened; it was a slice of vanilla-frosted cheesecake.

"W-What is this?"

"My Princess, I believe the reason you are in such a tired state is due to a lack of nourishment. Please, eat this three-layered cake I had so painstakingly prepared for you throughout the course of the day."

"Three-layered...? Virgo, the reason I'm feeling so bad right now is BECAUSE I nourished myself too much! I don't think I can handle taking even one more bite of food today!"

"You shouldn't say that; you have such a big appetite, it's only right to help it, isn't it? I wouldn't want you to feel hungry later once your aching passes, understand? I am only doing what I believe is right for you."

"I...Virgo..."

"Please say no more. I will feed you myself if I must."

"Ugh..."

In all honesty, Lucy really didn't want to turn down the cake, but it was the last vestiges of her common sense and self-control that were attempting to keep her from taking it. If she ate this cake now, she would just be taking another step towards a life of sloth and decadence, even if she had been taking so many steps in that direction already. Nonetheless, because the taste of sweet cream cheese was calling her, she opened her mouth and swallowed the slice whole.

"More!" she demanded.

Lucy was so distracted that she failed to notice a certain blue-haired woman watching her from behind the corner, smirking with impish glee.

----------

Time passed at a steady pace.

Lucy and Cana were gaining more and more weight. Lucy from eating sweets, and Cana from drinking alcohol. Every day their bodies swelled with newly-added poundage, and it just continued on more and more, like balloons steadily filling with water. Even though the numbers on her scale were higher every time she looked, Lucy was still somehow able to convince herself into believing she could lose the weight at any time. Her face gained a new chin, her breasts flowed over her chest, her belly blocked her feet from view, and still she held onto her false notions. Lucy experienced many changes, but she still kept eating, and there were times where she enjoyed being so large, flabby and fluffy. It gave her a chance to try out different kinds of plus-size fashion, after all.

On one particular day, while hanging out with Cana, Lucy unexpectedly discovered the truth behind her gain.

The two obese mages were waddling through town, going from place to place, both for feasting and for buying supplies. While Cana had developed an exceptionally large belly and butt of her own, Lucy possessed the far larger bust of the two. Her breasts jostled and bounced madly whenever she took a step, which did not occur as often as it once did. Lucy's light-blue tee was also stretched to its limits, barely capable of containing the massive, meaty spheres. They stuck as far in front of Lucy as her stomach did, maybe even more so, and whenever she woke up they were the first things she would see. Lucy's boobs, whether she liked it or not, were basically her most 'note-worthy' part of her now, especially because she was so fat. Her favorite shirts always seemed to reveal the most cleavage, too. Nonetheless, her breasts always got top-notch service; they even entered the room before she did.

Suddenly, in the midst of their chatter, something small, white and 'dog'-like sprouted from Lucy's deep cleavage.

"P-Plue! So that's where I lost you last night!" Lucy shouted, but then she exclaimed, "Are you okay? You aren't suffering from oxygen deprivation, are you?"

The cone-nosed creature shook its head, and proceeded to dart down a nearby alleyway. Lucy called to it, but to no avail; it wasn't listening. She had no other choice but to follow after it, despite how much slower she was at her current size. She turned to Cana for a moment.

"S-Sorry, Cana, we'll have to catch up again in a bit!" And she proceeded to waddle after the Celestial Spirit, "Hey, Plue, slow down! I'm full of ice cream and sprinkles; I can't move that quickly!"

It wouldn't be until later that Lucy learned of what happened with Cana upon their splitting up. The heavy-set blonde continued to chase Plue down, just barely able to keep him within sight as he darted behind corner after corner. By the time she had finally found him, Lucy was out of breath and covered in sweat. She placed her chubby hands upon her thick hips and knelt forward to swallow some air. Plue simply stood still in front of her, staring at her with his tiny black eyes and trembling.

"P...P...oof...Plue, why did you run...?"

"So you could meet me somewhere in private." a voice responded from within the shadows. Lucy gasped. A figure emerged and it was a person she recognized quite well. It was one of her Celestial Spirits from the Zodiac Keys, Aquarius. The Water Bearer possessed not only legs in replace of her mermaid's fin, but she also possessed an extra sixty or so pounds on her normally svelte frame. She had plump arms, larger breasts, a pudgy belly, and hips that were ridiculously wide. However, she wasn't nearly as fat as the mage was.

"Aquarius! What're you doing here? And...what happened to you?" Lucy asked.

"I got a little help coming out of my key. Virgo, I mean." Aquarius's sinister little grin almost seemed to be plastered onto her round face.

"Virgo...?"

"You know, I just can't help but want to laugh, looking at you so fat and pathetic," Aquarius remarked, "Things worked out much better than I thought they would! You did a good job bringing her here, Plue!"

The blue-haired spirit handed the much smaller spirit a cookie as a reward. Lucy could hardly believe what she was seeing, or even what she was hearing. She had to know what was going on. So she asked. Fortunately, Aquarius was more than willing to provide an answer.

"I'm the one who got Virgo to fill you with so many sweets and cookies; she was actually interested in seeing what you would look like at a heavier weight. I, on the other hand, wanted to turn you into a total fatass for revenge! I wanted to see you lose that sexy, slim body of yours!"

"What? Why would you do that to me?"

"Because...it's because I got fat!...And...and then," Aquarius's eyes flashed red, "My boyfriend left me!"

"Oh..." This wasn't good; Scorpio was basically the only thing that kept Aquarius sane.

"And yet you still had the perfect body; you're slim as a rake, yet you get perfect breasts and ass too? What the hell is with that? It's absolutely unfair; I had the same thing, but now I'm just considered an 'ugly girl' by everyone in the Spirit world because I got fat! If I'm going to be stuck like this, then you should be even fatter than me, so you'll know what I'm going through! And there's no way I'll let that son of a bitch Scorpio try to hook up with you! He even said you were hotter than I am! He thinks YOU are hotter than ME!"

"But...I really don't think that would ever happen-"

"Shut up!" Aquarius was really getting fired up now. She unveiled the urn from which she used her water magic, and aimed it directly at Lucy, "I don't care if you are the owner of my Zodiac Key! I'm going to make sure you get as fat as I want you to, even if Virgo disagrees, and even if it hurts you! I'll swell you up with water until you're ready to burst!"

"Aquarius, please, stop this! This...this is all a big misunderstanding! We can talk this out! I'll try to convince Scorpio to reconsider leaving you if you'd like me to!" It was all Lucy could do to try and quell the enraged Celestial Spirit; she had left her keys at home, so she had no way of protecting herself against such a powerful assault like this. Unfortunately, Aquarius was no longer listening. All she wanted to do now was make Lucy suffer. The water within the urn started to swirl and take shape.

"Huh?"

Standing between the two women was Plue. A few crumbs from his cookie still clung to his cheeks. Instead of facing Lucy, he had his large nose pointed at Aquarius. She scoffed.

"What? Did you just have a change of heart? You sold out your master for some baked sweets; just what good do you think it is to try and save her now?" she asked. She prepared to kick him out of the way.

Suddenly, Plue stuck its palms out, and fired three small rings of yellow energy. The rings slowly traveled through the air before they vanished into Aquarius's skin. Lucy's eyes bulged wide; she had seen this attack before, once in the battle against that hair mage Flare. It would activate in a matter of seconds. Judging from the look on her face, Aquarius was aware of its effects as well.

"Oh...no...!"

Aquarius's urn hit the ground with a dull thud. Lucy watched on as Aquarius's entire body started to swell with an immense amount of spontaneous fat. Her double-chin became a triple, her breasts burst free from her strained top, and her stomach practically gushed over her waistband like a flabby wave. Aquarius screamed; there was nothing she could do to halt the process, or to revert it. Her fat hands seemed to be absorbing her fingers, leaving them looking like little, useless nubs. Her legs were covered in layers and layers of thick thigh fat, and eventually it became too much of a burden to stand, forcing the girl to sit on her inflating ass. The sounds of tearing panties filled the air. Her stomach spread like a blanket over her pillar-sized legs. Aquarius attempted several times to stand up again, but it was to no avail.

"Gah! This...dammit, you're one lucky bitch this time, you know that?" Aquarius snarled at the blonde. Eventually, with another cry of defeat, she vanished in a puff of smoke. She had returned to the Spirit world on her own violation after being so thoroughly humiliated.

Lucy reached down and lifted Plue into her arms. "Man, that was crazy. I never knew that Aquarius would be driven this far from her break-up. I kind of feel sorry for her. But in any case, thank you, Plue. For still sticking up for me."

"Puuun..."

"But, you did play a role in all of this, so...no more cookies for two weeks!"

"Puun!"

"I better have a little chat with Virgo about all of this too," Lucy nodded to herself. Later that night she took Aquarius's Zodiac Key and locked it away in her old jewelry case for a very long, long time. At least until Aquarius finally found a new boyfriend. There were bound to be at least a few FAs in the Spirit world, anyway. She just hoped she would find someone soon, and maybe her broken heart could be mended. Lucy also celebrated by eating an entire cake, courtesy of an apologetic Virgo.
I'm still working on this story too, don't worry. This is the Lucy section, and then next is Erza and Mirajane, who experience pretty different events from these two girls. I think I made Aquarius a little TOO unhinged, but otherwise it worked enough for what plot there was in this little story. And yes, Plue's beam is from another Fairy Tail WG fic I did a long while ago.

Please let me know what you think; comment and/or fave! Thanks!

I really hate Aquarius because she is a bitch and she is always treating Lucy like shit and I'm glad Aquarius got what she deserved at the end.
